At Publicis Groupe we are proud to maintain the N°1 ESG position in our industry, based upon the scores from leading rating agencies. This demonstrates our belief that financial and non-financial performance are both critical and inseparable. 

Our ESG priorities are clear and guide our actions across countries and agencies. 

In terms of the Environment, our climate ambition, validated by SBTi, is to achieve Net Zero by 2040. Thus far, we are on track to meet our goal with a 30% reduction in 2023 (vs 2019) and 60% of direct source renewable energy reached this year. 

Regarding DEI – diversity, equity & inclusion – a key goal is to ensure at least 45% female leadership across key Group positions. We grew to 43% by the end of 2023. Our flagship programs such as the MCTP in the United States or Publicis Track in France illustrate our commitment to creating opportunities for young people who otherwise may not have access to entering the industry. Because physical and mental health is vital, through our Working with Cancer initiative, we have been joined by more than 1,800 companies working to eliminate the stigma of cancer in the workplace and better support the employees concerned. 

In terms of business ethics and responsible marketing, we are constantly improving the standards of our businesses. Our initiative, the Once And For All Coalition in the United States, attests to our capacity for innovation in favor of minority media and content creators. Climate issues are also integrated into our professional practices with A.L.I.C.E, our proprietary carbon calculator used for more than 250 customers/ brands in 50 countries. Finally, The Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, our international influence network, embodies the Group’s commitments to human rights and gender equality.
